sagalbot has been long overdue for an update. I would love to say at this point that there's really no excuse. But here's the thing - just because we have infinite ability to generate code now doesn't mean that this stuff is easy.
For the most part, it's just as hard. Building something that sparks joy still requires skill. There's new tools to master. Getting the right output from those tools requires expertise, and creating a finished product takes commitment and time.
I haven't had much of either, at least not for this website. I haven't really felt like putting myself out there in the same way that I did early on in my career. I can attribute that almost entirely to crushing a car with my body.
It turns out that going through extreme physical trauma and a five year insurance lawsuit where your every move is scrutinized isn't really conducive to feeling safe putting yourself out there. So instead, I quietly built a 7-figure business with the most talented and capable cofounder a person could ask for.
But the times, they sure have changed. The requirements of my business have changed. And I've changed. It's been 7 years since I crushed that car with my body and started going quiet. I've done a truly wild amount of work on healing since then. Countless days spent in the woods on my bike, on the snow in the mountains. Hundreds of hours invested into therapy that saved my life.
So let's get with the times. New website. Built in AmpCode with a fleet of agents over the course of a week. Fit for the era. Can't wait to show you.
